Uncle Hub was a large man. Over 6' and weighing in excess of 250 pounds.
Shortly after his marriage to Dorothy in about 1947, they came to Pensacola to find a job and lived with us for a few weeks. He found a job at Guy E. Yaste and Sons, a car dealership in Brownsville but was not satisfied with that. He quickly left and joined the U.S. Government Inspection Bureau and spent his working career checking businesses that produced lumber and "K" Rations.
In 1973 he and Dorothy were living in Florence, South Carolina. Dorothy had cancer and died there. Hub moved back to Paxton, Florida to be near his family.
